| Description | Chlorogenic acid (CGA) is a hydroxycinnamate, a family of naturally occurring organic compounds. CGA is found in plants but green coffee bean is remarkably rich, up to approximately 10% on dry basis. |
| Characteristics | ￭ Raw material is unroasted green coffee bean to keep the original content of CGA from roasting process. ￭ CGAis soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, DMSO, and dimethyl formamide. The solubility of CGA in these solvents is approximately 25 mg/ml. ￭ Chlorogenic acid can be hydrolyzed in alkaline condition or at high temperature and becomes green. ￭ Non-GMO, non-irradiated, non-allergen and gluten free ingredients. ￭ Suitable for Vegetarians, Jews and Muslims. |
