| Pharmaceuticals | Synephrine can constrict blood vessels, produce high blood pressure and dilate trachea and bronchus. The results of intravenous injection test in anesthetized cats showed that synephrine could resist bronchoconstriction. Clinically, synephrine is also used to treat hypotension, collapse, body weight and postural hypotension during bronchial asthma surgery and anesthesia. In addition, synephrine has a certain excitatory effect on cardiac receptors, which can increase blood pressure and improve mental activities. Therefore, it can be used as a mild stimulant. |
