| Description | Honeybee flower (Melissaofficinalis) is also called sweet grass, lemon grass, lemon perfume mint, honeybee flower family belongs to labiform flower family classification perennial herbs. It is rod-shaped, thick at the top and thin at the bottom, slightly curved, 2 ~ 3cm long, with an upper diameter of about 3mm and a lower diameter of about 1.5mm. The surface is yellow-white or greenish-white, storing long color gradually deep, densely pubescent. Occasionally leaflike bracts. Calyx green, apex 5-lobed, lobes hairy, ca. 2mm. Corolla cylindric open, apex 2-lipped; Stamens 5, attached to tube wall, yellow; Pistil 1, ovary glabrous. The smell is fresh and the taste is light. |
