Echinacea polyphenols are amides, caffeic acid ester derivatives, flavonoids and volatile oils. The specification is that the total phenol content is not less than 4.0% based on dry products.

Nutritional

Many phytochemicals in Echinacea purpurea extract capsules are actively involved in its function: polysaccharides, flavonoids, caffeic acid derivatives, essential oils, polyacetylenes, alkylamines and alkaloids.  It has been known that polysaccharides can stimulate the cells of the body to fight infection.
